Description

Thread Gatherer Silken Chenille-100% Silk Chenille. Dyed to match the Silk ‘n Colors. Use a large eyed needle. 20 yard skein.  A beautiful 'flat' chenille rather than a 'round' chenille.  As chenille can be a 'tender' thread, especially at the eye of the needle suggest stitching with shorter lengths (about 18"). Surface embroidery techniques such as spider web roses, straight outline stitches around wool applique, or straight stitches on needlepoint or linen are best suited to this thread.
