Modern Folk Embroidery Counted Cross Stitch Pattern. full crosses only
"Modern Folk Embroidery (or MFE) is the name used by the Dutch designer Jacob de Graaf for his line of unique folklore-inspired cross-stitch designs. MFE provides both original cross-stitch design charts and more recently also adaptations of traditional samplers. His original, mainly monochromatic designs have in recent years found a large global audience of stitchers. Their pleasing and timeless aesthetic, together with the relative simplicity of following a one-colour pattern has contributed to their popularity. Being a collector of antique samplers, Jacob has in recent years started charting some of those, together with publishing his extensive research into lovingly created booklets."
