Gilbert Homestead, a farmhouse built in West Brookfield in 1794 by two brothers, Levi and Peletiah Gilbert. The Gilbert family is directly descended from Sir Humphrey Gilbert, the English navigator, half-brother to Sir Walter Raleigh.
