Description

BAD Stitch Counted Cross Stitch Pattern.  " The name, BAD Stitch is short for By Amanda DeLong. Amanda has been designing since 2019, with a focus on nature-based, mythological, and Halloween designs. Amanda has found a global audience in love with her designs that feature colorful gradients and unique design elements."

This cross stitch pattern depicts the Greek Myth of Eros, the Greek God of Love and his mortal lover, Psyche. It's one of the few stories from Greek Mythology that has a happy ending. In the story, Psyche was instructed not to look upon Eros, which is shown as a flame transforming into a blindfold. Of course, Psyche does find a way to look upon Eros while he was sleeping and the Trials of Psyche ensued where she had to prove her love for the Greek God. This pattern calls for DMC Light Effects variegated floss, which is used for the hair details and Eros' heart tattoo. The variegated floss works nicely with the rest of the color palette. The printed pattern is in full color with distinct symbols. A lighter fabric will work better for this design, as there is negative space where the fabric will show.
