Painter's Thread Pearl Cotton #5 Pearl Cotton is a highly twisted thread made of long staple mercerized cotton. The high sheen is achieved by combining mercerization and twisting. Use as a single strand. If a larger thread is desired choose Pearl Cotton #3. Cut strand no more than 24" to avoid wear at the needle's eye. Good choice for embroidery, needlepoint, punch needle or other hand applications.
